RENOVATION PROJECT OF THE EXISTING SHOPPING CENTER, CONSTRUCTED IN THE MID-2000.

In 2018, the owners decided to rebrand and change the format of the shopping center “Materyk” – from name to design concept. For this purpose it was necessary to carry out repairs with updating of an interior and a facade of the building.

The AVG Group  has already had considerable experience in developing concepts and implementing the interiors of the largest shopping and entertainment centers in Ukraine – Lavina Mall and Blockbaster Mall, and no less famous examples of renovation of long-term buildings and their transformation into modern and popular malls – Smart Plaza Obolon and Smart Plaza Polytech.

Conceptual architects assumed that young people are deeply immersed in the information space, spend a lot of time on social networks, while virtually out of contact with brands that do not exist on the Internet.

The architectural concept beat the idea of ​​a vintage transistor receiver, and based on its motives, the design of the exterior and interior was proposed. Video boards on the facades, colored artistic lighting, brand names in a single style – all designed to attract, entertain and inspire shopping. Stuffing from individual shops – corners, the prototypes of which were transistors and chips, filled the complex.

In general, the solution of the interior was recreated ultra-modern “stuffing” in a fairly classic space of the mall with an atrium and a glass roof. NEO PLAZA surprised with exclusive installations in the center of the atrium, selfie points and comfortable seating areas for customers.

During the reconstruction, the facility changed its interior design and received an interactive facade with a view to the youth audience.

For a comfortable and convenient time in the mall, visitors were offered new formats of communication – edutainment and foodtainment, which allow you to simultaneously combine food, entertainment and learning.

As a result, the NEO PLAZA shopping and entertainment center has created the most convenient and comfortable digital environment, where all new brands, announcements of events, events and promotions are most conveniently communicated online in an understandable and unobtrusive form.

The focus on the young audience was the main message used in the development of the concept, so the renovated shopping and entertainment center NEO PLAZA became the attraction of student youth living in the area, and in general the young audience of the Dnieper.
