Week Review
– The National Union of Architects of Ukraine has determined the winners of the annual award in architecture and design. Two of our objects became laureates at once, namely Osvitoria Hub won in the Interior of the Year prize, and IT HUB became the winner of the Interior Design prize!
– Winners of the student competition Steel Freedom 2020 were given honorary awards. Alexander Maksimov, chief architect at the AVG Group, being a member of the competition jury, gave a speech on the peculiarities of construction in the historic part of the city. Also, now it has become the AVG Group’s pleasant tradition to give a special prize to the team with the most creative design approach. This year, it was the team from Lviv (I-968) who received virtual reality glasses as a present for their design of a sports and educational complex in Ivano-Frankivsk. Now, talented students will have more opportunities to create impressive objects and demonstrate them to customers.
– Despite the pandemic and travel difficulties, our team continues to visit our Croatian facility, executing our designer supervision commitments.
Construction work at the Nazario hotel is being implemented within the established construction schedule. Currently, the site is undergoing interior finishing works, as well as the laying down of utility networks.
– Likewise, the pace is not slowing down at the construction site of SMART HUB OBOLON, where the AVG group acts as the general designer. Facade works have been completed, now laying of utility networks and internal furnishing works are in full swing.
– Early winter is a good time for pleasant memories, since it was on December 1, 2016, that the largest shopping mall in Ukraine, Lavina Mall, was officially opened, the interior of which was designed by our team. It is a great chance to congratulate our partners and everyone who took part in establishment of this landmark object!
