The first city with an ecological philosophy may appear in the Odessa region
We would like to tell you in more detail about one of the most ambitious projects in Ukraine, in which AVG Group acts as a general designer – the first city with an ecological philosophy and a recreational and tourist resort with a play area “Dunaya”, which is planned to be built from scratch on 535 hectares on the shore Black Sea in the Odessa region.
More than 95 casino hotels are planned to be built along the 10-kilometer waterfront, as well as infrastructure projects, restaurants, beaches, venues for music festivals and much more.
” Dunaya ” will be able to receive 40-50 thousand tourists daily, due to which the tourist flow in Ukraine will increase by 1 million in the first three years and by 6 million in the future 10 years.
This fantastic project will give an impetus to the development of ethnographic tourism, because next to the resort is the Ukrainian Venice – Vilkovo, a city with an ancient history of Izmail, the wine capital of Ukraine Bolgrad, Tuzlov estuaries and the Danube Biosphere Reserve.
Development of the region
The implementation of the project will create at least 20 thousand jobs both through the development of the resort and the creation of conditions for the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the region from a population of 700,000 people. Also, within the framework of the project, it is planned to build a number of infrastructure facilities on the territory of settlements adjacent to Lake Sasyk – a modern waste recycling plant, a wholesale agricultural market for local farms, a transport logistics center, an airfield for small aircraft, a yacht club and a residential area for employees.
Today, nearby settlements have a low standard of living due to the lack of operating enterprises. Most of the population works in temporary seasonal jobs or travels to work abroad, to Odessa or Kiev, so the construction of such infrastructure facilities will give the region an impetus for development.
Investment potential
The project will be implemented through public-private partnerships, attracting resources from international financial organizations and leaders of the world gambling business, foreign and domestic investors, as well as lending programs for the development of entrepreneurship.
The total planned investment volume is $ 2.5 billion in 5 years from business and $ 250 million from the state.
